My name is Captain Mike Walston, born in Corpus Christi, TX in 1971. I am a United States Coast Guard Certified Captain and Texas Parks and Wildlife Licensed fishing guide. I have fished the waters from San Antonio Bay to Port Mansfield and it is one of the most beautiful bodies of water. I have fished the Texas coast since I was old enough to hold a rod and reel.

I can remember the days when my father got me up before sunrise to go fish the wonderful waters of Laguna Madre and Baffin Bay for good numbers of speckled trout and redfish.

I have been guiding for the past five years and I could not think of anything I'd rather be doing than taking people fishing and seeing the smiles on their faces when they land that 28 inch redfish or that 30 inch trophy trout.

These are the reasons that I became a fishing guide and hope to continue doing it for years to come. This has always been a dream of mine and I am now living my dream!
